we are nations reaching nations

Wilcrest Baptist Church is God's multi-ethnic bridge that draws all people to Jesus Christ

who transforms them from unbelievers to missionaries.

Each Sunday at 10:45 a.m.

people from more than 50 nations

gather together for worship.

We invite you to join us.

We believe God calls us to live out the Great Commandment of loving Him and loving one another, and the Great Commission of making disciples of all nations. Our theme this year is "Good News Revival." We pray the Lord will revive our hearts, homes, communities, nation, and world for His glory.

you're invited

Our doors are open and Sunday morning services are now back IN-PERSON!

We encourage you to come join us each Sunday at 10:45 a.m. in our Sanctuary,

but if you're unable to, you can still worship with us on FACEBOOK LIVE

  • Free app for family discipleship

If you'd like to bring what you've heard at church into your home, start having meaningful conversations with your kids, and get equipped to lead your family, we recommend the FREE D6 Family App.

All of our Sunday School classes (adult and children) follow the D6 curriculum, so each week we're all studying the same lesson. This app coordinates with and expands on those lessons and gives you ideas for family activities and discussions that will help everyone in your home learn and grow even more.

  • Wednesday Morning Devotionals

    Wednesdays, 10 - 11 a.m.

    Men's Devotional: Main Building

    Women's Devotional: Family Ministry Building

Come connect with our small groups for bible study. The ladies are starting a new study on Feb. 24 called "It's Not Supposed to be This Way" by Lysa Terkeurst taught by Karen Maness, and the guys meet with Pastor Jonathan Williams.

  • music highlight: Negro Spirituals

For the remainder of February, the piano worship preludes will highlight Negro Spirituals. You can read more about which songs will be shared each week at https://hbu.libguides.com/spirituals.

The spirituals served multiple purposes from easing minds and spirits as slaves worked in the fields to being a coded language to help runaway slaves, as Harriet Tubman did. While Canaan often referred to the North and freedom, it also gave spiritual hope as slaves may or may not have been allowed to worship.

Join us all this month as we celebrate this often neglected part of church music history that should not be forgotten.
