"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." ~Matthew 28:19-20
Whether helping families affected by the Harvey Hurricane or just reaching out to our neighbors, we love spending time with and serving the families of our community. Throughout the year, our missions committee leads our church in various local outreach days that we invite the entire community to join. These usually consist of activities such as bounce houses for the kids, basketball tournaments, soccer, music, water slides, rock walls, and, of course, food. We will update our home page and "ministries & schedule" tab with dates as these outreach days are scheduled.
Wednesday Nights @ 6 p.m.
Our ESL ministry invites all who desire to learn English to come on Wednesday nights for this free class. Students will find joyful teachers who are ready to build relationships, teach English, and share the Gospel. This is a beautiful ministry that engages our community with the love of Christ while also meeting the needs of so many families who desire to learn English.
We have partnerships with international missionaries, serving with AVANT missionaries and Gospel Church in Gdansk, Poland, IMB missionaries and the Karamajong people in Uganda, a mission team working with indigenous villages in the Peruvian Jungle, and with missionaries in South Asia. We take groups for week-long trips to these nations just about every year, and have also had the privilege of sending families to serve longer term. Our hope is to partner with these ministries over the course of several years and be a part of what the Lord is doing among the nations.
